Composite Technology Limited (CTL) is part of
Helicopter Support Inc. (HSI) who are
a wholly owned subsidiary of Sikorsky
Helicopters.
We have been repairing helicopter
rotor blades at our facility based on
Thruxton Airfield, near Andover situated
in the heart of the English countryside
since July 1991. Located beside the
A303 trunk road between Salisbury in
the west and Andover in the east. We
enjoy easy and direct links to all major
port and airports.
CTL has developed
steadily since 1991 and we now have
a wide and varied client base, with
customers from Greenland to the African
continent as well as the Far East and
former Soviet Block countries to whom
we offer a service that is second to
none.
Certified by EASA (No. UK.145.00230)
the FAA (No. CG1Y538X) And TCCA (No.
TCAC 807-09). CTL is also
approved as an OEM Repair Station by
Sikorsky, Bell Helicopter Textron, Agusta,
Schweizer and MD Helicopters our blade
repair capabilities are extensive and
include but are not limited to;
• Engineering appraisals of suitable
repair schemes
• Replacement of leading edge abrasion
strips
• Repairs to both minor and major skin
damage.
• Repairs to core materials and structure
• Composite and metal repairs
• Refinishing and balancing to OEM standards
• Plastic Media Stripping Service
• NDT examination service (including
X-ray)
• Onsite/overseas repairs (subject to
prior agreement)
